The Burton Foundation

Don owned and operated BP/MN from 1991 to 2001.  He received his Master's Degree from Western Illinois University.  He did his doctorate studies at the University of Washington, Seattle, six years at the University of Chicago, and Oxford University, England.  Prior to purchasing Burton Placement, Don was a professor at Sauk Valley Community College, and a Senior Account Representative with Waddell & Reed.

Our History

Over the last 15 years, Burton Placement has grown to eight offices covering Northern Illinois.  Our corporate headquarters, in Sterling, Illinois, is also the home to our nursing division, Mercy Nursing.  Offering a wide range of extended services has given us an advantage in our market place.  We are able to provide employees for industrial, retail, administrative, clerical, private duty, and staff relief work.  Employee ownership is the reason for our success and our mission is to provide competent ethical services to our communities.
